Roland Davis

My name is Roland A. Davis, and I am currently a junior at Old Dominion University, majoring in History and English. I am the treasurer of the League of Historical Studies and a singer for the Ebony Impact Gospel Choir. I am also currently employed by Old Dominion University as a student worker in their Special Collections and University Archives department.

Over the course of three years at Old Dominion University, I gained experience in digital citations, online record-keeping, database management, document scanning, and online research. In addition, I participated in Old Dominion University’s HIST 368 program during the summer of 2024. The program paired me with Old Dominion University's Perry Library Archives Digital Collections and assigned me to projects that continued to hone my skills as a researcher.

As the history field continues to embrace digital technology, my skills can help any organization with digital record keeping and record analysis. I can also work in any stage of research and work to my fullest potential and  deliver the best results possible.
